The ports of Antwerp and ENGIE have entered into a 30-year concession contract for the realisation of an Alternative Energy Hub on Quay526 and 528 in the port of Antwerp. The Alternative Energy Hub will consist of a bunker and filling station with liquid natural gas (LNG) for inland waterway transport and road transport. (The first LNG shore-to-ship bunker station for inland waterway transport in Europe). In addition, there will be a natural gas (CNG) fuel station and quick loaders for electric vehicles at this site. G&V Energy Group guarantees the commercial and operational exploitation of this installation.
